Expand Quality Education

According to the UNDP, 103 million youth worldwide lack basic literacy skills, and more than 60 percent of them are girls and young women.

As a result, children, particularly girls, living in conflict-affected areas are experiencing a lack of daily nutrition, self-care, and consistent learning.

The foundation aims to strengthen the capacity of local charity organizations that advocate for quality education for the most vulnerable and marginalized girls worldwide. Specifically, the joint programs will help our partners:

  • Implement innovative and context-appropriate solutions to leverage hi-tech, low-tech, and no-tech approaches
  • Ensure that underserved girls are provided with the appropriate tools they need to learn.
  • Keep facilitating the return of girls to school following pandemic impacts to avoid an upsurge in dropout rates.
  • Provide appropriate self-care and educational tools for girls to increase their chance to succeed.

Promote Gender Equality

While the world has achieved progress towards gender equality under the UN Millennium Development Goals, women and girls continue to be the victims of discrimination and violence in every part of the world. Gender equality is not only a fundamental human right, but a necessary foundation for a peaceful, prosperous, and sustainable world.

Our goal is to help accelerate progress toward a more gender-equal world by addressing the barriers that keep underserved girls and young women from being fully active in their communities and societies. The Foundation strongly believes in putting women and girls at the center of economies to drive better and more sustainable outcomes for all. This means providing resources needed for equitable learning conditions for underserved girls and providing socio-economic plans with an intentional focus on the lives and futures of women and girls.

It is becoming evident that the undervaluing of girls and women is at the root of every problem in their communities. Structural barriers such as discriminatory laws, enshrined traditions, and restrictive policies considerably reduce their participation in the economy and their earning power. Thus, the Foundation is putting girls’ education at the center of every decision and will work to collect accurate and up-to-date data on gender issues to ensure productive results.

Advocate for women empowerment

Uneducated women play a disproportionate role in their communities regardless of the country, which makes them vulnerable to existing inequalities from health to security and social protection.

Our goal is to support programs aimed to increase financial inclusion and independence for women, and their ability to own and control their lives.
