About GEFF

Girls Education First Foundation was established with the purpose of giving underserved girls of all ages access to quality education. We strongly believe that education enables upward socioeconomic mobility and is a key to escaping poverty. The Foundation is taking a holistic approach to ensure that girls living in war-torn, underdeveloped countries, and underrepresented communities have access to safe, equitable, and affordable education.

With the purpose of fostering international partnerships to ensure that every girl around the world has access to a quality education, the Foundation is teaming up with public and private sectors, women-owned organizations, as well and as grassroots and civil society organizations to tackle the barriers that prevent young girls from access safe and quality education. We are working toward the implementation of equitable education into traditions, and institutional laws that will facilitate inclusive and effective learning opportunities for marginalized girls.

Girls Education First Foundation’s mission is to provide quality education that improves learning conditions for marginalized girls living in low-income communities. The Foundation is teaming up with partners around the world to knock down the barriers that prevent girls from receiving a safe and sustainable education. Investing in girls’ education, particularly marginalized girls, contributes to a more stable and resilient society.
